Please arrive at the Salon with your curls detangled and dry in their natural state. With little to no product. Avoid ponytails, clips or braids. Arriving with tangles will incur a surcharge. Take some time to figure out what you want and gather some reference pictures for your stylist. This will help them interpret your wants and expectations. Keep your texture and fullness in mind when searching, not all styles are universal.
Guests & Personal Belongings
During this time we are asking that you come alone to your appointment with minimal belongings. There is no waiting room during this phase of operation, only customers receiving a service will be permitted into the building. Guests and children who are not receiving a haircut are not allowed to wait inside. No food or drinks will be provided during your service. Food and drinks are not permitted in the salon. Children 11 & up receiving an adult haircut will not be permitted a guest, parents will be asked to wait in their car. Children 10 & under will be permitted one adult guest.
Please arrive 10 minutes before your appointment. Leave your car running for an accurate temperature reading, & call to notify us of your arrival. A team member will be out shortly to take your temperature and ask you screening questions for signs and symptoms of COVID-19.
During your appointment, we ask that you:
Keep your face mask on during the entirety of your service. If you do not bring one with you one will be given to you for a nominal fee.
We also ask that you practice social distancing by standing 6 feet away at a minimum and refrain from socializing with other clients.
Covid-19 Cancellation Fee:
The health and safety of our staff and clients are of utmost importance here at Planet Curls. We encourage anyone who knows or suspects they may be sick or have come into contact with someone sick to reschedule their appointment. Fees for cancellations related to illness will be waived during phase 1 of reopening Planet Curls for service. We ask that you call to notify us as soon as possible if you are in need of rescheduling at (713) 861-6444. Due to the shifted Covid-19 schedule, we are unable to service clients running more than 10 minutes after their assigned appointment time. If you miss your appointment due to tardiness you will incur a fee of 50% of your scheduled service.
